Now that June has arrived, I now have to get a tad bit more serious about my upcoming sprint triathlon - 6/21/09. It's my first of the season, and I'm still not into the swing of things. My friend, G, is planning to do the race with me - and it's her first triathlon- Yay, G!
I've going to my gym during the past week every day, since my daughter has swimming classes there for two weeks. Today, I'm going swimming in the same pool, rather than the lap pool, so I can keep my eye on her - killing two birds with one stone.
This is our regular indoor pool.
Here's our lovely lap pool, just adjacent.
After her swimming class, it's off for 1.5 to 2.5 hours at the outdoor pool.
Here's our outdoor pool at the gym.
Outdoors, she plays - I watch - I play with her - I feed her lunch - I watch - I take her home - she sleeps - she wakes up all grumpy - I make dinner and soothe the grumpy soul. Ahh..the life of a stay-at-home mom. (It's not as easy as it sounds though).

ah the grass is always greener!
we're on the same schedule. my first sprint of the season is june 21. coming up fast!
What a great pool - well set of pools! Only the kids one looks crowded and that's ok - kids like it. Ah - like Jeanne says - I groused when I was a stay at home mom and now I'm a working mom I grouse about that.. None of its easy but it's lovely to be a mother. And you're setting a fantastic example..
Wow, *3* beautiful pools! That should make for nice year-around swimming (and a lot of folks envious).
Great to hear your friend is doing the race too. Good luck training the next couple weeks!
Holy cow. The first time you showed the pools I was impresesd. But now with the addition of the oustide pool - I'm blown away. That's incredible.
